Make your own handcrafted Mi’kmaq 14” hand drum and learn the story of its origin and teachings.
Carolyn will guide you on this experience of slowly working with mindfulness and respect using all natural materials such as wood and deer skin to craft your drum and connect with it.
The drum is an extension of oneself, and when we play the drum we are following the heartbeat of Mother Earth. The rhythm created from your drum can be the foundation of song and prayer to make your day more meaningful and magical.
14” Drum, white tailed deer skin and white ash hoop + maple drum stick
Healthy snacks and tea will also be offered.
