Yoga, Breathwork & Ocean Cold Dip Workshop - Sun 5 Jan 9:30am

Tantallon Teachers:
Workshop Date:
Sunday, January 5, 2025 - 9:30am to 11:00am

Cold dipping has been known improve mental health, ease physical pain, help muscle recovery and boost not only the immune and circulatory system but also your mood!

In this workshop we will combine cold dipping with yoga and breathwork to offer you a variety of benefits: a vinyasa style yoga flow to warm up, breathwork to energize the body and prepare the mind, and an ocean cold dip to embrace nature and feel connected! Then finish off the experience with an optional cafe visit to warm up with a hot drink and hang out.

We will meet at the studio to start with a 40 minutes energizing yoga practice (modifications will be offered so even if you are a beginner you will be able to join us!), next we will relax and practice breathwork to prepare, when ready we will drive to a beautiful location, only about 8 minutes from the studio, to experience cold dipping together in the ocean.

If you are new to cold dipping we will NOT jump in the cold water (that is never recommended), we will slowly walk in the ocean, using our breath to self regulate and embrace the experience, always listening to our body. Once in the water we will try and stay in for 1 minute, with a suggested max stay of 5 minutes  but always listen to your body. You will have the support not only of our fab facilitator Melissa, but also of all the other people around you and together we will create a sense of community and rounded wellness, while, maybe, trying something new!

After the dip you are invited to join us at a local café where you may want to enjoy a nice hot drink to warm up as you relax after the experience.
