Mala Making Mini Retreat

Tantallon Teachers:
Workshop Date:
Saturday, February 8, 2025 - 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Join Joanne from Saltwater Malas to learn the sacred art of mala making. A mala is a traditional necklace used as a meditation tool to focus the mind. Malas are not just beautiful, they can also help carry a sense of peace, mindfulness, and focus throughout the day.

Making your own mala is a wonderful mindfulness exercise that connects you with your creativity and with the different stones which all have different qualities. Your mala will be as unique as you are!

We'll open the space with some breathing and meditation to set your intention and we will practice some gentle yoga to stretch your body, so you we will be ready to start creating your own unique mala choosing from a variety of semi-precious stones. Joanne will tell us about the proprieties of each one of the stones and she will help with your creation with love.

We will enjoy a healthy snack and some herbal teas, but please bring anything else you may fancy and your water bottle.

Price: $126+tax- In gratitude, a $5 donation per participant will be donated to a local animal rescue. Sign up early to ensure your space. Includes all materials, yoga, breathing and meditation mini class, tea, snacks and lots of fun!
