Sandi’s yoga practice began over ten years ago as an occasional student at a gym in Halifax while attending university. When she started working full time as an engineer out west, she found even more pull toward a regular, deeper yoga practice as a balance to the demands of work as well as to keep mobile between her hobbies of snowboarding and mountain biking. Sandi completed a 200-hour intensive teacher training with Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica in January 2013. Since completing training, she taught yoga in the evenings to a group of employees at the mining camp she worked at in Northern Alaska. She most enjoys sparking the “yoga bug” in someone who has never practiced before. Sandi loves to travel and take workshops and classes from different yoga instructors around the world, who have all influenced her in positive ways. She recently moved back to Cape Breton and looks forward to sharing her love of yoga with everyone here at home.
