Rachel Barrett E-RYT 500 is a small-town Canadian girl, turned international yoga teacher, musician and creative, on a mission to make her wildest dreams beautiful realities and remind you that you can too.
Her boundless energy and vivacious personality compliment the numerous hot yoga and community yoga classes she currently teaches between Fredericton and Moncton New Brunswick
From her first +500hr teacher training and ashram residence in 2009 she considered herself to be a forever student and her life is a reflection of that passion.
Since yoga found Rachel, she hasn't stopped courageously chasing her dreams to be of better service.
Her yoga teaching career began in 2009 as a Yoga for Youth Outreach Coordinator, leading classes in family shelters, high schools and afterschool community centres in Ottawa were mostly on cold basement floors. This raw, real world experience of the practice actually changing peoples entire day empowered her to continue this journey in her home community and make these tools for self care through breath and body accessible to as many as possible.
Once her passport was stolen in her first trip outside of Canada in 2014, She was compelled to face these personal fears of travel that limit connection, so she set off adventure teaching solo through the Caribbean and Central America - her mindful ability to make life the practice, while reflecting and responding through change continues to inspire her various community connections in person and online where her authenticity shines.
Rachel's classes are a meditation in motion. With strong emphasis on conscious breath, mindful movement and fascination of the present moment to bridge the gap between bliss on the mat and throughout daily living.
